Innocence of a Child

Remember the good old days,
When you were nothing,
But an innocent child,
When everything was a mystery,
And you couldn’t wait to grow up,
Now you would do anything to get that back,
Remember all the things you told your mom
About what you wanted to be when you grow up,
Remember playing all day long,
With no worries to do anything,
Remember all the fun and laughter you had,
Remember all of your curiosity about life,
And how it came to be,
Remember the days when nothing mattered,
When you don’t have to worry about the way you look,
act and, do,
All a child had to do was enjoy life,
Like it wasn’t going to end,
And now think,
What is different now then when you were a mere child,
What ever happened to your innocence,
No one knows better then you,
So why don’t you think,
And try to remember.
