More Violent Place

Over my years of growing up, I’ve come to an understanding of how the world works and how people act. One thing that really annoys me is how everyone can be going around and saying the world has become a more violent place.

First of all, the world has always been a violent place; we can refer to the bible for this: Cain killed his younger brother Abel out of jealousy. This shows that even near the beginning of time, there has been violence. Second of all, I think that the world is A LOT safer than it used to be, I mean of course there are plenty of people out there committing some very serious crimes like rape and murder. But, is it justified to say that the world has become more violent then it use to be? There were times when even having a fever is fatal, times when people were forced to hide from the dangers of genocide and times when people fought wars just so they can defend the land that they own. And here we are, whining about how the world lost its innocence. The thing is the world never had innocence to begin with.

This little “article” that I am writing is not well written at all, but my message to everyone is just to quit complaining about how the world is a bad place, because it has always been bad, so grow up and get use to it, because everyone knows that we have been living in a screwed up world.
